The Samsun Culture Road Festival is Samsun's stop on the national Turkiye Kultur Yolu Festivali, held in the city where Mustafa Kemal Ataturk landed on 19 May 1919 to launch the Turkish War of Independence. The 2026 edition was the city's third time hosting, built around gastronomy, concerts and the city's role in Turkey's founding history.
