Malanka Krasnoilsk in Krasnoilsk
Krasnoilska Malanka is a traditional Pereberia-type folk carnival held every 13 to 14 January in the town of Krasnoilsk, Chernivtsi oblast, involving roughly 500 costumed local participants organized by the settlement's seven historic quarters, each fielding its own Bear-led troupe with distinct masks, costumes, and music.
Krasnoilska Malanka is a traditional carnival of the Pereberia type held every year on 13 and 14 January in the Ukrainian settlement of Krasnoilsk, in Chernivtsi oblast's historically Romanian-influenced Bukovyna region, with around 500 residents taking part and tourists arriving from across Ukraine and abroad to watch.
