Atlas Festival in Kyiv
Atlas Festival is Kyiv's largest multi-genre music and arts festival, launched in 2015 as Atlas Weekend by promoter Dmytro Sydorenko and rebranded in 2022. Held each July, it brings together Ukrainian and international rock, indie, hip-hop, and electronic acts across multiple stages. Once drawing crowds above half a million before the full-scale invasion, the festival now runs at a wartime scale, doubling as a fundraising platform for Ukraine's air-defense units.
Atlas Festival traces back to July 2015, when Kyiv promoter Dmytro Sydorenko staged a two-day gathering called Atlas Weekend at the Art-Factory Platforma, pulling in roughly 20,000 people to watch 30 Ukrainian bands including Boombox, ONUKA, and Jamala.
