Ukrainian Fashion Week in Kyiv
Ukrainian Fashion Week is the country's flagship runway event, held at Kyiv's Mystetskyi Arsenal since 1997. Founded by magazine editor Irina Danilevskaya, it showcases established and emerging Ukrainian designers, and after wartime disruption forced editions abroad, returned to Kyiv in 2024 with brands including Frolov.
Ukrainian Fashion Week traces back to 1997, when designer Sergei Bizov approached Irina Danilevskaya, then editor-in-chief of the fashion magazine Eva, about creating a Ukrainian answer to London Fashion Week.
