Mother of the Nation Festival in Abu Dhabi
Mother of the Nation Festival runs simultaneously across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafrah from late November into early January, honouring Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak with a themed entertainment programme, carnival rides, escape rooms, workshops and augmented-reality games, that adopts a new concept each year, a recent edition built around a space theme.
Simultaneous celebrations across three separate locations, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafrah, rather than one central site, is how Mother of the Nation Festival scales itself across the wider emirate for roughly five weeks each winter.
