Belfast Film Festival screens Northern Irish, Irish and international film across venues in the city's Cathedral Quarter each autumn. Running since 1994 and drawing around twenty-two thousand attendees annually, the charity-run festival includes dedicated strands for younger audiences and underrepresented communities alongside its main screening programme.
Belfast Film Festival was established in 1994, giving it three decades of continuous operation screening Northern Irish, Irish and international film across venues concentrated in and around Belfast's Cathedral Quarter, where the festival maintains its headquarters on Donegall Street.
