Belfast International Arts Festival in Belfast
Belfast International Arts Festival spans theatre, dance, music, visual art and literature across multiple city venues each October and November. Founded in 1962 as Belfast Festival at Queen's, it is the city's longest running international arts festival and became an independent charity in 2015 after five decades hosted by Queen's University.
Belfast International Arts Festival was founded in 1962 by a Queen's University student, Michael Emmerson, making it, by its own account, the longest continuously running international arts festival in the city.
