London Short Film Festival in London
A short film festival held across London venues each January since 2003, screening between two hundred and fifty and five hundred films selected from over five thousand annual submissions. Qualifying for both BAFTA and British Independent Film Award consideration, it combines public screenings with an industry-facing programme of workshops and panel discussions.
The London Short Film Festival was founded in 2003 to give short filmmaking, a format often treated as a stepping stone toward feature production rather than a serious art form in its own right, a dedicated annual platform in the capital.
