Victorious Festival in Portsmouth
A large seafront music festival held on Southsea Common in Portsmouth each August, founded in 2012 at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard as Victorious Vintage Festival. Relocated to Southsea in 2014 for expanded capacity, it has grown into one of the UK's largest metropolitan festivals, drawing over 150,000 visitors by 2019.
Victorious Festival began in 2012, staged initially at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard under the name Victorious Vintage Festival, drawing around thirty-five thousand people in a debut that coincided with celebrations for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee that year, with headline performers including The Lightning Seeds and Mark Morriss.
