Michigan Fiber Festival in Allegan

The Michigan Fiber Festival is the state's largest sheep and wool festival, held annually the third weekend of August at the Allegan County Fairgrounds. Run by the nonprofit Michigan Fiber Festival Inc., it spans five days of fiber-arts workshops, animal shows for sheep, goats, and rabbits, spinning and shearing demonstrations, vendor shopping, and youth competitions celebrating wool, mohair, and other natural fibers.
