AFRAM Baltimore in Baltimore
AFRAM, Baltimore's official Juneteenth-weekend celebration of African American culture, has run since August 1976, when it debuted as part of the city's Bicentennial programming with a Gil Scott-Heron performance. Now produced by the Baltimore Office of Promotion and the Arts at Druid Hill Park, it drew historic crowds above two hundred thousand and marked its fiftieth anniversary in June 2026.
