Beaufort Water Festival is a ten-day community celebration held each July along the downtown Beaufort, South Carolina waterfront, founded in 1956 as one of the Southeast's longest-running coastal festivals. The festival combines an opening ceremony with the Parris Island Marine Band, a raft race, sports tournaments, and live music, closing with the signature Blessing of the Fleet and Parade of Boats on the Beaufort River.

In July 1956, business and community leaders in Beaufort, South Carolina organized a promotional event meant to draw attention, and visitors, to the small coastal city.
