Berea Craft Festival in Berea
The Berea Craft Festival is a juried fine-craft show held each July at the Historic Indian Fort Theater in Berea, Kentucky, a city long known as the state's folk arts and crafts capital. More than 100 artists from across the United States display pottery, woodworking, fiber arts, jewelry, and glasswork over three days.
Berea, Kentucky, has earned its reputation as the folk arts and crafts capital of the state through generations of working artisans, many trained through Berea College's long-standing student craft programs, who have made pottery, furniture, weaving, and metalwork central to the town's identity.
