Bloomsburg Fair in Bloomsburg
The Bloomsburg Fair has run in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, every year since 1855, making it the largest fair in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Started by Caleb Barton as an agricultural exhibition on what is now Main Street, it is governed by a board of 13 elected directors chosen by thousands of shareholding members, and it runs about eight days each September into October with agriculture, livestock, and a full midway.
Its age, scale, and agricultural identity make it one of the state's core fair rows.
