Brattleboro Literary Festival in Brattleboro
The Brattleboro Literary Festival brings novelists, poets and nonfiction writers to downtown Brattleboro each October for a free weekend of readings, panels and conversations. Since its founding, the festival has hosted more than 900 authors, including Pulitzer Prize, National Book Award and Newbery Medal winners, in a town with a long literary history of its own.
Every October, the small Vermont town of Brattleboro fills its downtown churches, bookstores and community halls with novelists, poets and journalists for a weekend built entirely around the written word.
