Lunar New Year Tet Festival in Costa Mesa
The Tet Festival at the OC Fair and Event Center in Costa Mesa is billed as the largest Vietnamese Lunar New Year celebration held outside Vietnam, drawing more than 80,000 visitors over three days every February. Organized by the Union of Vietnamese Student Associations, the fairgrounds fill with hundreds of food booths, martial arts demonstrations, and stage shows marking the new lunar year for Southern California's large Vietnamese American community.
It reflects one of the country's most important Vietnamese American cultural communities.
