Dodge City Days is a multi-week Old West heritage celebration held in Dodge City, Kansas each late July into early August, coordinated by the Dodge City Area Chamber of Commerce. Described as the second-largest festival in Kansas with more than 50 events, it draws an estimated 100,000 attendees and generates roughly three million dollars in economic impact.
Dodge City, Kansas built its name on cattle drives, cowboys, and a reputation for lawlessness during the late nineteenth century, a history preserved today at sites including Boot Hill, and Dodge City Days is the modern civic celebration built around that Old West legacy.
