East Lansing Film Festival in East Lansing
The East Lansing Film Festival is an independent film festival founded in 1997 by Susan Woods, screening over 100 features, documentaries, shorts, and student films across roughly nine days, historically in early November. Long presented with support from the City of East Lansing and Michigan State University, and operated by the East Lansing Film Society, it is the second-oldest film festival in Michigan, with screenings in recent years held at Studio C in nearby Okemos.
It gives mid-Michigan a credible film row.
