Oregon Asian Celebration in Eugene
The Oregon Asian Celebration is a free summer festival in Eugene's Alton Baker Park celebrating the region's diverse Asian communities through lion dance, martial arts, taiko drumming, an artisan marketplace and street food, now honoring a different lunar zodiac year since moving outdoors from its original 1986 indoor winter format.
The Oregon Asian Celebration began in 1986 as an indoor winter festival built to promote cultural awareness among Eugene's diverse Asian communities and give them a shared public platform.
