Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival in Fairhope
The Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival is a juried outdoor art fair held every third weekend in March in downtown Fairhope, Alabama, running for more than 70 years. Organized by the Fairhope Arts and Crafts Committee and Festival Foundation with City of Fairhope support, the three-day festival draws more than 200 artists from across the country and swells the town's population from roughly 25,000 to nearly 300,000.
Fairhope, Alabama sits on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay, a small town known for its flower-lined streets, artist community, and single-tax colony origins, and for more than 70 years those same streets have hosted one of the Gulf Coast's largest juried art festivals every March.
