Fargo Film Festival in Fargo
The Fargo Film Festival is a five-day independent film celebration at the historic Fargo Theatre in downtown Fargo, North Dakota, running March 17 to 21, 2026, in its 26th year. The festival screens more than 100 films with 50 or more visiting filmmakers, alongside Q&As, panels, and special guest appearances.
The Fargo Theatre opened in downtown Fargo, North Dakota, in 1926, an ornate movie palace built during the golden age of American cinema architecture, complete with a Wurlitzer theater organ still used today for silent film accompaniment and special events.
