Shoshone Bannock Indian Festival in Fort Hall
Each August, the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes host the Shoshone-Bannock Indian Festival on the Fort Hall Reservation, a multi-day gathering built around powwow dancing at the Dance Arbor, an INFR rodeo, a parade, and an arts and crafts market. A traditional buffalo and salmon feast, coordinated by district volunteers, closes out the weekend.
The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes have hosted an annual festival on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation in southeastern Idaho for decades, bringing together powwow dancing, rodeo, a parade, and a traditional feast in a single multi-day gathering each August.
