John C. Fremont Days in Fremont
John C. Fremont Days is a three-day, citywide festival held the second full weekend of July in Fremont, Nebraska, running since 1987. The award-winning celebration features antique power equipment displays, living history encampments, arts and crafts, a rodeo, a car show, continuous entertainment, a parade, and a balloon glow.
Fremont, Nebraska carries the name of John Charles Fremont, the nineteenth-century explorer and politician whose expeditions helped chart much of the American West.
