Montgomery County Agricultural Fair in Gaithersburg
The Montgomery County Agricultural Fair is an annual nine-day county fair held each August at the Montgomery County Agricultural Center in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The 2026 edition is the fair's 77th, placing its founding around 1949-1950, and it markets itself as the best nine days of summer.
The Montgomery County Agricultural Fair traces back to the years immediately following World War II, when county fairs across the mid-Atlantic were being revived or newly established as agricultural extension programs and 4-H clubs sought venues to showcase a season's worth of farm work, livestock breeding, and home-craft skill.
