Geneva Swedish Days in Geneva
Geneva Swedish Days is a five-day festival in Geneva, Illinois, celebrating the heritage of Swedish immigrants who settled the area, dating to 1949 and sponsored by the Geneva Chamber of Commerce. Held the last week of June, the 2026 edition marks its 76th year with a craft beer tent, carnival, Kids' Day, nightly entertainment, a parade, merchant sales, and Swedish and American food stands, making it one of Illinois's largest and longest-running summer festivals.
Its heritage theme and long-running downtown format make it a strong suburban row.
