Goshen Fair is Connecticut's Labor Day weekend agricultural fair, run since 1910 by the Goshen Agricultural Society on its own fairgrounds in the Litchfield Hills. What began as a horse race along what is now Route 63 grew into a full county-style fair with livestock barns for dairy and beef cattle, sheep, swine, and poultry, blue-ribbon competitions for produce and canning, a motorsports truck pull, midway rides, and contests like the pork cook-off and skillet throw.
