Polish Day Parade Hamtramck in Hamtramck
The Polish Day Parade caps the annual Hamtramck Labor Day Festival, marching through the small Detroit-enclave city of Hamtramck, Michigan on Labor Day itself. The parade closes out a multi-day festival held along Joseph Campau Street between Caniff and Carpenter, where two music stages, a carnival midway, and beer and food tents celebrate Hamtramck's Polish immigrant roots even as the city has grown into one of Michigan's most ethnically diverse communities.
Its community roots and city identity make it a good cultural parade row.
