Hoboken Italian Festival in Hoboken
The Hoboken Italian Festival is a four-day Italian-American celebration held the weekend after Labor Day along the Hoboken waterfront at Sinatra Park. Rooted in the Molfetta, Italy tradition of the Madonna Dei Martiri, the festival features live music, food vendors, carnival amusements, and a Saturday procession in which an eight-hundred-pound statue of the Madonna is carried from St. Francis Church to the Hudson River waterfront.
Its Madonna dei Martiri tradition and waterfront procession make it a strong heritage row.
