Japan Festival Houston in Houston
Japan Festival Houston is a free, single-weekend celebration held each September in Hermann Park, organized by the Japan-America Society of Houston. Described by local press as one of the largest Japanese cultural festivals in the United States, it combines traditional arts like taiko drumming with anime, Japanese car culture, live performances from touring Japanese pop idols, and authentic street food, drawing thousands of visitors from across the Houston area.
It is one of Houston's strongest Asian cultural events and draws broad public attendance.
