Hutchinson Jaycee Water Carnival in Hutchinson
The Hutchinson Jaycee Water Carnival is a week-long community festival held each June in Hutchinson, Minnesota, organized by the local Jaycees chapter and marking its 83rd year in 2026. Centered on the South Fork Crow River, it features a boat parade, walleye fishing tournament, cardboard boat race, Grande Day Parade, and the crowning of Miss Hutchinson.
The Hutchinson Jaycee Water Carnival traces back to the mid-1940s, organized from its earliest years by the Hutchinson chapter of the United States Junior Chamber, a civic volunteer organization commonly known as the Jaycees dedicated to community service and youth leadership development.
