Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire in Manheim
The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire runs for thirteen weekends from early August through late October on the grounds of Mount Hope Estate and Winery in Manheim, Pennsylvania. What began in 1980 as a two-day jousting event in the winery's parking lot has grown into a recreated sixteenth-century English Tudor village spread across roughly thirty-five acres, with a dozen stages, Shakespearean performances, and hundreds of costumed characters.
Its village setting, themed weekends, and long season make it a core PA arts row.
