Held each July at Henry Maier Festival Park on Milwaukee, Wisconsin's lakefront, Festa Italiana celebrates the city's Italian-American community with a Blessing of the Fleet ceremony, bocce tournaments, Italian food and wine, and live entertainment. Dating to the late 1970s, it is among the earliest of Milwaukee's major lakefront ethnic festivals.

Italian immigrants settled in Milwaukee beginning in the late nineteenth century, building neighborhoods, churches and businesses concentrated particularly on the city's near east side.
