Texas Citrus Fiesta in Mission
Texas Citrus Fiesta is a Rio Grande Valley celebration held in Mission each January, running since 1932 to honor the region's grapefruit and orange industry. Its signature Product Costume Style Show features participants modeling elaborate costumes handcrafted entirely from cured citrus peels, alongside the coronation of King Citrus and Queen Citrianna.
Its crop identity and parade traditions make it a meaningful regional event.
