Holi at Cheekwood in Nashville

Holi at Cheekwood brings the Hindu festival of colors and spring to Cheekwood Estate and Gardens in Nashville each March, with color-throwing using non-toxic gulal powder, henna tattoos, live South Asian music and dance, and food and shopping vendors. Now in its fifth year, it serves as the first of four annual multicultural festivals the estate hosts.

Cheekwood Estate and Gardens added a Holi celebration to its calendar only a few years ago, but the event has already become the traditional opening festival in a four-part multicultural series the Nashville estate now runs annually.
