Little Poland Festival in New Britain
Little Poland Festival puts folk dance performances at the center of Broad Street, then lets families wander between food stalls and the neighborhood's own Polish bakeries and delis. Carnival rides and street-fair activities mix with the cultural performances, giving the day a family-reunion energy. More than 100 local businesses take part, turning the festival into a showcase for the whole district.
You step into the neighborhood and the whole street seems to be talking at once: music from a stage, kids pulling toward carnival rides, the smell of bakery sweets and grilled food drifting past shop windows.
