New Jersey Folk Festival in New Brunswick

The New Jersey Folk Festival is a free, one-day celebration of the state's traditional music, crafts, and food, held on the Rutgers University campus in New Brunswick as part of Rutgers Day. Founded in 1975 by American Studies professor Angus Kress Gillespie, it is the oldest continuously run folk festival in New Jersey, drawing more than 10,000 visitors to hear folk musicians, watch dancers, and browse a juried craft market each spring.
