Springfest, Ocean City's spring counterpart to Sunfest, has run at the Inlet Lot for roughly thirty-five years as of its 2026 edition, marketed as the official start of summer in the resort town. The four-day event pairs two free music stages and more than two hundred juried artisan exhibitors with a co-produced Street Art Festival featuring live chalk and street painting demonstrations from the Art League of Ocean City.

The Town of Ocean City's Special Events Department created Springfest as the spring counterpart to its established fall festival Sunfest, and by its 2026 edition the festival had reached its thirty-fifth year, placing its founding around 1991, and organizers market it directly as the official start of summer in Ocean City.
