WaterFire Providence in Providence

WaterFire is a public art installation and event held on the three rivers of downtown Providence, Rhode Island, created by artist Barnaby Evans. More than eighty bonfires are set in braziers along the rivers and lit at dusk, accompanied by music, as pedestrians walk the riverside paths to view the installation.

WaterFire was created by artist Barnaby Evans, initially as a temporary installation, before growing into an ongoing signature event for the city of Providence, staged along the rivers that run through the city's downtown core.
