Artsplosure - The Raleigh Arts Festival is a free two-day outdoor arts festival held every third weekend in May on Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh. Run by the nonprofit Artsplosure, which also produces the city's WRAL First Night Raleigh New Year's Eve celebration, the festival brings more than 170 visual artists to sell juried work directly to the public alongside a live-music main stage.

Its city arts identity makes it a solid North Carolina arts row.

Artsplosure grew out of Raleigh's own civic arts planning: the City of Raleigh Arts Commission formed subcommittees in 1978 to plan a citywide arts festival, and the nonprofit was incorporated the following year to keep producing high-quality, accessible events and to help emerging artists reach wider audiences
