Reston Multicultural Festival in Reston
The Reston Multicultural Festival, held each September at Reston Town Center in Reston, Virginia, marked its twenty-fifth anniversary in 2026. Presented by Reston Community Center with partner organizations, the festival features more than twenty performances across three stages, plus the Market Street Stroll showcasing traditional crafts and handmade goods from cultures represented in the community.
Reston, Virginia, was founded in 1964 as one of the first large-scale planned communities in the United States, developed with an explicit founding philosophy that emphasized mixed housing types, integrated green space, and a diverse population living and working within the same master-planned town.
