Virginia Pridefest in Richmond
Virginia Pridefest is Richmond's flagship LGBTQ+ celebration, growing out of the city's first Pride gathering in 1979, held to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising. Organized by VA Pride, a program of Diversity Richmond, the festival is now the largest LGBTQ event in the state, featuring live music, local vendors, food trucks, and community organizations at a single-day September gathering.
