Utah Arts Festival in Salt Lake City
The Utah Arts Festival is a four-day, multi-disciplinary outdoor arts festival held each June in downtown Salt Lake City. Marking its 50th year in 2026, it combines a juried visual-arts marketplace, live music and dance, a free short-film program, and hands-on activities for children, drawing more than 42,000 attendees and 800 artists and performers to the city's Library Square area.
The Utah Arts Festival was founded in 1976 by Salt Lake City community leaders who wanted to make the arts accessible to the whole community, and it has run every June since as the largest multi-disciplinary outdoor event in Utah.
