Utah Pride Festival in Salt Lake City
Utah Pride Festival is Salt Lake City's annual LGBTQ celebration, organized by the Utah Pride Center every June in downtown Salt Lake City. Held since 1977, it combines a rally and vendor festival at Washington Square with the Utah Pride Parade, the state's second-largest parade after the Days of '47. The 2026 edition ran June 5 and 6 under the theme Pride Elevated, drawing an estimated 50,000 attendees.
Utah Pride Festival traces its roots to 1977, when the Salt Lake Coalition for Human Rights sponsored a three-day conference that also gave rise to Affirmation, the organization for LGBTQ Mormons, families, and friends.
