Seafair in Seattle
Seafair is Seattle's signature summer festival, running from June through August with events culminating in hydroplane races and a Blue Angels air show on Lake Washington each August. The multi-week celebration includes neighborhood parades, a torchlight parade through downtown, and the Seafair Pirates, a costumed civic group that has appeared at community events since the 1940s.
