Seward Fourth of July Celebration in Seward
Seward's Fourth of July celebration has centered on the same town square since 1868, building a full day around a Freedom Run, a classic car show, food stands, and live music before the grand parade moves west through downtown at four in the afternoon. Fireworks close out the night after nearly a century and a half of the same square hosting the celebration.
Flags snap over the street, folding chairs crowd the sidewalks, and the town square feels like it has been waiting all year for this one hot, noisy day.
