Sterling Renaissance Festival in Sterling
The Sterling Renaissance Festival transforms 35 wooded acres in Sterling, New York into the fictional 1585 village of Warwick for seven consecutive summer weekends. Founded in 1976 and marking its 50th anniversary season in 2026, the festival features full-contact jousting, a resident acting troupe and roughly 100,000 visitors each season.
Its costumed village and long-running identity make it a strong arts/culture row.
