The story

Yellow Daisy Festival in Stone Mountain

The Yellow Daisy Festival is Stone Mountain Park's flagship arts and crafts show, reaching its 58th year in 2026 with more than 400 artists and crafters set up in the park's Special Events Meadow. Named for the rare Confederate yellow daisy that blooms wild on the mountain each fall, the four-day festival runs in September.

Its scale and park setting make it one of Georgia's strongest craft rows.

What is special

The part that makes it specific.

01

The place changes

The festival has been recognized as one of the top arts and crafts shows in the nation by Sunshine Artist Magazine, named a Southeast Tourism Society Top 20 Event, and honored with multiple Southeast Festival and Events Association awards, a level of national craft-show recognition uncommon for a park-hosted event

02

The mystery stays covered

Its name comes directly from Stone Mountain's own ecology: the Confederate yellow daisy is a rare wildflower that grows almost exclusively on granite outcrops like Stone Mountain, blooming each late summer and giving the September festival its name and timing
