Artesian Arts Festival in Sulphur

The Artesian Arts Festival is a free, one-day celebration of First American art hosted each spring by the Chickasaw Nation at the Artesian Plaza in downtown Sulphur, Oklahoma. More than 160 juried Native artists exhibit paintings, pottery, beadwork, and other work across twenty-plus categories, alongside live music, cultural dance demonstrations, face painting, and food vendors, all within sight of the Chickasaw National Recreation Area.

The Artesian Arts Festival grew out of the Chickasaw Nation's broader investment in downtown Sulphur, Oklahoma, a town whose historic mineral springs gave it the nickname City of Springs and later made it the gateway to what is now the Chickasaw National Recreation Area.
