Fiestas de Taos is an annual Hispanic community celebration held on and around Taos Plaza, normally the third weekend of July, honoring the town's two patron saints, Santa Ana and Santiago. The weekend opens with a commemorative mass and candlelight procession from Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and the crowning of a Fiestas Queen, then continues with hourly music and dance on the plaza and two parades, a children's parade on Saturday and a larger Fiesta Parade on Sunday.
