Heart O' Texas Fair and Rodeo in Waco
The Heart O' Texas Fair and Rodeo has run every October in Waco, Texas since 1953, the year its home venue opened following a $1.2 million county bond approved by McLennan County voters. Named a top PRCA rodeo in 1974 and now held at the Extraco Events Center, the fair pairs a full livestock and carnival fair with a professional rodeo and a long-running high school scholarship program.
Its regional fairgrounds identity makes it a strong Central Texas row.
